Adam and Eve
Adam and Eve were the first man and woman that God created. Scientists trace the origin of humanity and, therefore, the origin of Adam back to Africa.
God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and gave them dominion over the earth. He warned them, however, not to eat from The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden. But they listened to the temptation of Satan (who was a fallen angel) and disobeyed God. As a result of their disobedience sin and everything harmful and wicked entered into human beings and into the world itself. But God still loved Adam and Eve, so he promised them that they and their descendants would be delivered from the Curse and from their sins by a Redeemer. This Redeemer is Jesus Christ who died for the sins of men and rose again to rule the world.
